Nothing Just Happens

The photographs in this project are inspired by the narrative possibilities still images have the power to suggest. I am interested in both finding and creating scenes that evoke feelings relating to desire, beauty, conflict, and tension. My images imply a series of events in motion by integrating scenes with people and still lives containing a remnance of human presence. Using a cinemagraphic approach, I leave the storylines ambiguous as to what has just happened or will happen in each scene.
